Susan Boyle's Semi-Final Performance -Singing Memory

The Britain's Got Talent and Youtube sensation Susan Boyle has once again proved herself.Her semi-final performance was indeed powerful that it wowed the audience,viewers and the judges as well.She sang "Memory" from the musical Cats.This only proves she loves cats and the song is perhaps addressed to her cat, pebbles.Weeks before the episode, Susan has undergone instant fame which includes instant makeovers that really changed the way she leads her life before.Like, most of the recently adored celebrities, Susan Boyle together with American Idol's Simon Cowell had an interview with Oprah last 11th of May.This only proves she's a Big Time singing sensation turned woman of the hour.

The start was a shaky one but as moment passes she's able to emit a magical voice that stunned the viewers.The expectations were high and that's what made people in the beginning so excited.As the beams of light touched her performance the chance of winning a spot in the finals became of a large amount.But did her semi-final performance amount to her first performance?

Personally,I was impressed of her performance but it's saddening in a way.Her performance was a bit disappointing.I can say her recent performance will never amount to the way it did the very first time around.But it doesn't really matter now -because she might blast away a surprising performance when Finale comes and by far,what makes the show and her performance even better is her imperfection.Coz, every performance, every song tell us a story about her life.

The two Davids of American Idol are going to invade the territory of Philippines for good.They'll be having their concert live in Manila.This coming May 16 the two Davids will have to bob the heads of their Filipino fans.And just recently the two David made a video promoting their concert here in the Philippines.My two cousin went gaga as they've seen David A saying "Salamat Po" and "Mahal Kita".Although David C is still having that grieving feeling for the death of his brother he was able to greet his Filipino fans.

After the instant stardom Susan Boyle comes another superb performance from a 12 year old boy named Jal Joshua.Only that Jal Joshua's stunning performance was set to make history in Australia's Got Talent and not, of course in Britain.Haha.Jal Joshua Lebumfacil may have not brought the bacon! but he still proved to us that Filipino's are born with the passion for singing and the powerful voice every Filipino has.He got the 2nd place in Australia's Got Talent and wittily said "You're really awesome. I hate opera but you're really good." to Mark (the Grand Winner) right after the winner's proclamation.He garnered applauses from the audience and his fans after saying that to Mark.Jal sang Barry Manilow's One Voice.After his performance he also received praises and fair words from the judges!!

"The purity of your voice is so beautiful. I actually watched the show back again just to see you sing and if there was young talent time, you'll be on it so we could hear you singing every week."-said Dannii Minogue.While Grant Denyer said " "He continues to blow us ever since. There is no doubt we discovered an incredible young talent with a very broad future ahead. You are an unbelievable talent. Well done, an extra ordinary talent, a great discovery. ".

It must be his last appearance in Australia's Got Talent but it certainly won't be his last in the music industry!!

I dreamed a Dream by Susan Boyle

The saying "Looks are Misleading" or "Do not judge the book by it's cover" was once again proved to us by an unassuming contestant from Britain's Got Talent named Susan Boyle.An all alone 48 years old,odd looking,unemployed woman which has a thick unkempt hair,bushy eyebrows and totally looks as if she lives on a witch's castle has brought the audience and the judges to drop their jaws and give her a standing ovation during last night's episode.

Before going on stage she spilled out some self-degrading stuffs making the whole audience not to expect anything special from her.But when she opened her mouth and produced the acclaimed "Biggest Surprise Ever" in the three years of airing the show.Everybody was speechless including the witty-line thrower Simon Cowell.Then each of the judges were to do their job -of course to judge.All before she started singing the judges faces and i suppose some of the audiences faces look like they're under a spell of unexplainable ridicule.And she proved them wrong.The laughs from the audience turned into complete silence making her the last one to laugh.Moreover everybody's waiting for the words of Simon and finally he said "“I knew the moment that you stepped in front of us that we were going to hear something remarkable, and I was right.” ".And I were to judge her performance I must say her performance is Extraordinarily PHENOMENAL.
